Collooney Tidy Towns has been re-instated since January 2008. There are about 26 active members, young and old. We are a voluntary non-profit making organisation.

This website was set up to inform the whole community so that they too can get involved in enhancing Collooney town.

How to get involved

Collooney Tidy Towns depends on the good will of people to volunteer their free time to help improve the town.

Committee meetings now every Tuesday at 7:30pm in the Teeling Centre. New members are welcome. (Children to be accompanied by an adult.) Please bring along any equipment you think might be useful.

Collooney Tidy Towns is a great opportunity to meet new people within the community. Its not all hard work, its good fun as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Collooney Tidy Towns is hosting “Give it a Swirl Day” on Saturday 27th September 2008. This is a national volunteer day in conjunction with the Sligo volunteer centre. It is an opportunity for businesses, residents, friends to volunteer their time for one day of the year and engage with a local volunteer group.
